Space Invader in Bangkok

I must have passed this spot a thousand times and didn’t notice the small mosaic “Space Invader” on a roadside electrical box. It’s in a construction zone so I think it is at risk.

I observed one before on Silom Road and had no idea what it was. Then a Flickr friend told me they’re all over the place. See for example http://www.space-invaders.com/sominv.html for a worldwide map and http://www.flickr.com/photos/tofz4u/sets/72157604468532120/ for pictures of others in Bangkok.

They’re a lot more inventive than the BNE graffiti.
