Picapp Pictures of King Chulalongkorn

I was happily surprised that Picapp has some good pictures of Thailand’s King Chulalongkorn – Rama V. Here is a selection:

    dear sir,

I like your blog, full with pictures, nice and easy to read comments.. however, I would like to correct the part on Rama V, King Chulalongkorn.. as he wasn’t the one depicted in Anna and the King or The King and I, King Mongkut (King Chulalongkorn’s Father) was the depicted character in both movies.. However, it is true that King Chulalongkorn was the one who abolished slavery and feudal claims etc..

    kudos to you!

    Dear Joe,

Thanks for the correction. I inserted the caption from Picapp and didn’t check it. I’ll delete it – the movie is not allowed in Thailand in any case.
