This is a very clever idea. When you drive over a special speed bump the motion of your vehicle generates electricity. How much seems to be a trade secret.

Of course nothing is free. The laws of thermodynamics apply. You car uses a small amount of extra fuel to power itself over the speed bump.

Once you start thinking about it, surely there are lots of opportunities for side-effect power generation. Manufacturers of childrens’ swing and roundabout sets could modify them to generate power. Again it would take some extra effort to move the roundabout but kids have plenty of excess energy.

Generating Power?

Discos and clubs are popular in Thailand. How about a dance floor that generates electricity through the movement of the dancers?

      The possibilities are endless if they can perfect the technology.

      For example, schools could have free electricity from all the kids running around.
