Flickr Upload Quota Reset Time

For those of us who are too much of a miser to pay for a Flickr account, they reset the 100MB/month quota at midnight on the last day of the month – local time. At least, that is according to the Flickr user interface. However. when I tried to upload the first images of the month at about 12:20am I got a ‘quota exceeded’ error from Jeff Friedl’s Lightroom Plugin.

Something strange is going on: the Plugin shows a huge number for my quota. I think I encountered an edge case and there’s been some kind of overflow.

I will send Jeff an email.

And I’ll be patient and wait until the morning before uploading more images. As I said before, Flickr has a strange addictive quality.
